Mtroniks Viper2 Series: All Viper2 car
ESCs feature motor short protection, powerful brakes, 3.3Khz drive
frequency for fine low speed control, adjustable braking and (where
applicable) adjustable reverse with reverse disable option. Can
operate on 4.8v to 9.6v input on batteries up to 4500mAh. All Viper2
ESCs feature a failsafe - if your car goes out of range, it will stop
dead.
ESCs are sorted by price - please ensure that you choose an ESC compatible
with the number of turns on your motor.

Hobbyport LM ESC |

Basic ESC as used in the Bonzer, Cross Tiger and Max Extreme buggies.
Works with Acoms/Futaba and similar radios. Non programmable - just
plug in and set up.
* Previous batches we were advised suited all motors down to 19 turns.
We have ran this batch on motors down to 13 turns. We would suggest
it'd be wise to use a 15 turn or higher motor though.
HOBBYPORT ESC SETUP
IT IS ONLY NECESSARY TO RUN THROUGH THIS SETUP IF THE
ESC DOESN'T AUTO SET TO YOUR TRANSMITTER.
Power up and immediately hold down button for 2 seconds then release.
The lights should then flash. Pull the trigger or push your stick to the
full speed forwards position. Whilst holding this position, press the
button once quickly. Then pull the trigger or push your stick to the full
reverse position. Whilst holding this position, press the button again.
If the ESC seems to refuse to accept the setup, switch the "SERVO REVERSE"
switch on your transmitter to the Reverse position and try again. The
timing of the first push of the button is key to the setup - leave it too
long after switching on and the ESC will not accept it, don't hold it long
enough and it won't accept it either. |

FORWARD, BRAKE & REVERSE, Twin Sport Tune
Motor Limit
This new ESC has been specifically
designed for use with Tamiya's twin electric motor R/C vehicles to control
up to two Sport-Tuned Motors, but is about the same size as the TEU-101BK
for compact efficiency. The ESC allows you to set a button for cancelling
reverse, and together with an LED display allows easy setting of neutral,
acceleration, and reverse/braking high points. Its "smart" feature adjusts
the neutral and high points according to transmitter inputs, and it is
possible to use this ESC with most transmitters on the market today. It
also features built-in Battery Elimination Circuitry (BEC), so it can be
used conveniently even with receivers that do not have this feature.
Note: Motor limit is two Tamiya Sport Tune, GT Tune or Dirt Tune - NOT
2x23 turn motors from other makers - Tamiya's motors draw less current. |

work out how to hang the second battery, a massive turn of speed in a
typical two motor installation even with the regular motors. NB
Motor wear rates will be higher with the higher voltage. |
