We have two privacy statements - one is relating to orders and one for our electronic eNews service. In the event of any query relating to privacy matters, please contact Neil Gorin, General Manager via any of the methods outlined on our Contact Us page.
PRIVACY INFORMATION PERTAINING TO ORDERS
Personal and order details are collected online and by telephone at point of order, or enquiry, lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, under which we are fully registered.
Once received your details will not be disclosed to any third party, except where required to process your payment and arrange delivery of the goods. Your email address will be added to our Newsletter receivers list only if you select that option when ordering (or enter your mail address into the box on our menu page). Each newsletter published includes clear instructions on how to cancel future issues.
Your name & address will be passed only to the following organisations: Credit Card merchant services - for security checking and sale authorisation. Delivery Organisation (e.g. Royal Mail, Parcel Force, Business Post etc) for delivery. We do not maintain or keep a postal mailing list - if you wish to be kept updated on new products, we recommend you join our email newsletter using the link at the bottom of our menu page. Our email newsletter mailing list software stores only your name & email address and no other details whatsoever. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (i.e. we do not spam).
In the event of online payment by credit or charge card, no payment details are kept on any form of computer system once orders are received and actioned, only on paper file within a locked office to which no public access is permitted. Online ordering processes are protected by both SSL secure layers, encryption and password protection.
Cookies are used in the implementation of this site only to pass non-sensitive information during the ordering process, and do not store card details or payment information.
WHAT IS eNEWS?
Our eNews newsletters are sent by email to all those who have subscribed, and contain release updates, special offers and general modelling news.
PRIVACY
We undertake not to abuse your email address. We appreciate you taking your time to subscribe to and read our newsletters - please be assured that we will never pass your email address on to third parties.
IS THIS SPAM?
No. Spam are junk emails that you have never asked for. We only send Enews to those who have actually asked for it. You can do this by entering your email via our web pages (after which you will receive a mail back with details of what youve subscribed to and a copy of the transcript showing when the email was entered at the site) or by selecting the appropriate option when you order. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (i.e. we do not spam).
WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH MY EMAIL ADDRESS?
Send you newsletters. We wont sell it on to anyone, or give it away. If you choose to stop receiving the news, well delete your address from our news software. If your email bounces (for any reason other than full mail box) well also delete your address. Instructions are included with each newsletter and on each subscriber reply. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (i.e. we do not spam).
IVE TRIED TO UNSUBSCRIBE BUT KEEP RECEIVING THE NEWS - WHY?
You must have entered the wrong email address when you unsubscribed. Contact Us with full details and well look into it.
WILL YOU REALLY REMOVE MY EMAIL IF I ASK?
Honestly, yes. We would rather mail to 2000 genuinely interested customers than 5000 who werent. It wastes our time mailing you if youre not interested.
